Attachment (Cover)

Post by leosantare »

Hello,

I wanted to see exactly what the attachment (.jpeg) was all about and if it can work in a way that I would want.
Please see the screenshot "Attachment" below.

If I were to select the attachment (.jpeg) for all my rips, will the cover art be displayed instead of the VLC cone icons in Windows Explorer?
Please see the screenshot "Windows Explorer" below.

Thank you,

you would need to change the view in windows from details to videos or pictures

Okay, but "videos" or "pictures" is not one of the view options. Please see screenshot below.

Before I start ripping my UHD discs with the attachment (.jpeg) selected, what are the chances of me coming across a UHD disc that does not have an attachment or the artwork is poor/wrong?

I would want all my titles to have artwork or none of them. For example, if one is missing or incorrect, I would not want any of my titles to have the artwork.

If I decide that I don't like the artwork for a disc, can I just delete the artwork or do I have to rip the disc again without selecting the artwork?

At the same time, can I add the artwork to a disc that I already ripped?

any of the ones with icons will display an image from the movie i believe not sure if it will pull the artwork or not or will just auto generate one from the first few frames
you can probably merge or un merge the cover image but not sure how.
