Zero-length titles

I have an ISO. When I try to open the disc I get this:

Code: Select all

Using direct disc access mode
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #1 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #2 does not match one in IFO header.
Calculated BUP offset for VTS #3 does not match one in IFO header.
Failed to open disc
When I try to open it manually, it finds four titles all zero minutes and zero seconds long.

When I put in the disc from which I created the ISO, however, it seems to rip:

Code: Select all

Using direct disc access mode
Using LibreDrive mode (v05 id=067EFCA8EA7E)
IFO file for VTS #2 is corrupt, VOB file must be scanned. This may take very long time, please be patient.
IFO file for VTS #3 is corrupt, VOB file must be scanned. This may take very long time, please be patient.
Cells 2-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Cells 38-end were skipped due to cell commands (structure protection?)
Complex multiplex encountered - 7 cells and 10439 VOBUs have to be scanned. This may take some time, please be patient - it can't be avoided.
Title #1/0/1 was added (7 cell(s), 2:46:56)
Title #2 has length of 32 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 55 seconds and was therefore skipped
Title #2/1 has length of 30 seconds which is less than minimum title length of 55 seconds and was therefore skipped
Operation successfully completed
Why doesn't the ISO work if the disc itself is fine?

Calculated BUP offset for VTS #1 does not match one in IFO header.
BUP is the the Backup file of the IFO file. But MakeMKV shoiws this error for each DVD.
IFO file for VTS #2 is corrupt, VOB file must be scanned. This may take very long time, please be patient.
If the IFO file is corrupt, than the BUP file must be used, but in the ISO the BUP is also incorrect (see above). No idea why it is not processend in the same way as the disc.

Processing ISO files are always tricky. I have some which cannot be read, or producting garbage or have some other problems. So I don't like ISO files

I've got another disc that acts the same way, except the title it returns when I use the disc is five minutes too short. First five minutes is missing when I play it.

I some parts are missing, check the Cell protection option in the settings. I use the "Auto" option.

Otherwise try the DVD manuell open mode and specify title and the chapters which should be included.
