thanks to this forum here could unlock ultraHD reading capabilities of LG BlurayDrive
however this one Bluray seems not be able to read - it says loading disc, then it ejects.
The Cover says "Blu-RayDisc" "8K Ultradigital HD"
(DTS#HD 5.1 96/24; BD-50 (DualLayer))
(VC-1 Encoding)
Maybe you can help me , maybe there is another firmware needed for this drive (WH16NS55 > now WH16NS60)

a 8K on BD50 seems weird guessing a fake or something

it is a normal Blu-Ray in 1080p. I also have this edition and was able to read the disc.
So it's not a problem with makemkv, it will be the disc itself or the drive.
Unfortunately, it is normal that a drive cannot read all discs that are available. There are hundreds of threads in the forum where there are problems with reading a disc and almost all of them are solved with an alternative disc or with another drive.
There are also many who say that a disc should be cleaned in such a case - even if it appears to be clean.
I have not yet been able to confirm that this has changed anything, but there are many in the forum who hold this opinion.
