Site that lists subtitles?

Post by pusta »

Is there a site out there that lists whether a movie has forced subtitles? I usually only find this out after I've ripped a movie and start to watch it, which leads to an annoyed wife. :)

There may be, but... If you don't want subtitles, you can set up a default selection rule that won't pick them up.

You might also check your player software. Hardware players tend to play whatever subtitle track is first, whether it is flagged as default, forced, or not flagged at all. Most software players at least give you the choice.

Im using xmedia recode after ripping with makemkv. You can copy the video and choose the right subtitle by preview and copy it too.

Yes, and as using the search function would have revealed, it has been posted here several times, recently in a thread titled 'Subtitles empty?'.
