With help of AnyDVD, VLC and Process Explorer, it looks like 00230.mpls is the correct one, but haven't watched and confirmed yet.

The Nordic version of Allegiant has this corerct playlist:

Just inserted my new copy of Allegiant I got from BestBuy in the US. I have Java installed and MakeMKV did not select the correct title. All titles were selected (there were about 300). Luckily I found this thread and was able to hopefully select the correct title. Unfortunately for some of the other movies I ripped, I simply guessed on which one was correct and will now have to figure out which movies they were so I can re-rip them.

I thought the whole point of installing Java JRE (which I did today) was to have MakeMKV figure out the correct title. Is that not the case? If it doesn't, then what does having Java installed do?

I bought the three movies together in one package off amazon. (Insurgent allegiant and divergent). I am no where near figuring out which one the correct title is... as mine is not numbered the same as this posts.
For instance, my first selection looks like this

and there are about 300 to choose from. Where do I start, I mean I started going through all the segment maps but EVERY one of them starts with 513. So it does not appear to match anything listed in this thread. I cannot take the time to watch every segment and match it up - sorry not gonna happen.

I once wrote a script (might be somewhere here) that would have makemkv enumerate all the playlists and then sort them in segment order.

one could then easily do a search to see which segments make sense following the previous one. As they are sorted, when one hits one that doesn't make sense, one can make a big jump to the next egment to try until one finds the segment that makes sense. rinse and repeat and you will end up with the correct playlist.

This was the same segment map as I had on my copy of Allegiant from a 3-disc set bought off Amazon in 2022, though for me it was title 253.

I have the 3 disc pack from Amazon too (purchased this year). I found the same video with the same segment map, however it was title 25 for me.

Title count will vary depending on Preferences > Video tab > 'Minimum title length (seconds)' value.
