Netflix disc, though it's not marked "rental only" nor "Netfix."

"A Hologram for the King." All of the files show the proper runtime. Anyone know which one's the right one?

Much thanks.

I got the same MPLS (714) for Red also.

But!...... I'm receiving error for file not saved with hundreds of rows with these errors:
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00110.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 1381472256, attempting to work around
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00110.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 1381478400, attempting to work around

Never had this error before.

That's probably a physical problem on the disc. If you're lucky it's a speck of something you can wash off. If unlucky, it's a scratch or a nick and you won't be able to rip the file.

Cleaned it well still could not rip it... same errors; btw disk looks perfect. Tried a different program which ripped it to an ISO file then used MakeMKV with no problems converting the ISO to an MKV file.... very odd.

What did you use to rip to an ISO? I tried MakeMKV with a standard DVD rental and got errors that would not let me copy.

What was the error message?

BTW, my general experience has been that, once a disc has been successfully decrypted, if it doesn't rip with MakeMKV, it doesn't rip with any other software (TSMuxer, MKVToolNix). An error, seen or unseen, exists on the disc and the software can't get around it. Trying different drives, however, has been helpful; if it fails in one, it sometimes works in another.

I am curious as to how this information is found in the first place. Is it trial and error or is there a tool for discovering?

That is a very good question. I am also interested in how this information was obtained.

Process monitor - Filter by .mpls with PowerDvd
Look for the Playlist with only ReadFile under operation.
The incorrect playlists will have entries under operation of ReadFile and QueryStandardInformationFile

To double check
Process monitor - Filter by .m2ts with PowerDvd
Play the movie x16 and capture the .m2ts sequence
Compare the playlist to the sequence.
