Patriot's Day: Playlist Obfuscation

Post by malpoo »

Hello!

I currently have the NA Redbox version of Patriot's Day and was wondering if a kind soul could get me the correct playlist.

If you'd also like to teach me how to fish rather than feed me a fish, I'd love some help getting the Java working on my Windows 10 computer. I've specified the path in the Settings for the Java.exe but still no luck.

Thanks everyone!

I second that emotion on what is the correct playlist for Redbox Patriots Day and how we can determine these things for ourselves in a time efficient manner.

Does the Redbox version have DTS-HD MA 7.1?
If so then the playlist is 00886.mpls.
I'm asking because rental discs exclude the 7.1 Surround Sound Track.
In this instance the playlist will be different.

My Redbox rip was mpls 00405 and the audio was 5.1. I just watched the whole movie and it came out perfect.

The Redbox version doesn't have a mpls 886 and no 7.1 as far as I can tell. Here is the segment map

Segment map: 503,513,507,516,512,510,509,518,511,504,500,501,508,505,520,517,519,506,502,514,515

OK, that's what I got too. I worked through the instructions posted above and found playlist 405 was the one. Thank you all for the help.

Has anyone watched the 405 MPLS (Red)? Does the sequence look OK?

I normally concentrate on getting full Blu-ray's to work on standalone I have had help here in the past with them - This should work for your *.mkv [00886.mpls]

[Patriots.Day.2016.1080p.Blu-ray.AVC.DTS-HD.MA.7.1]
