SUCCESS IN RIPPING this disks titles 04 & 05, sort of. You still can't rip these titles directly, but you can get at them indirectly.

Here's what works:

Create a new folder called Smallville on your desktop.

When Make MKV opens to the first window, set your destination to the new Smallville folder and select back up whole disk, (decrypt mode.)

When the entire disk has finished creating a backup, open handbrake and select the Smallville folder as the source. When handbrake has finished scanning the folder's files, select titles "Smallville 20 (00023.MPLS) & Smallville " 21 (00024.MPLS), (add one at a time to the batch list) and encode.

The resulting encodes will be episodes, 19 "Quest" & 20 "Arctic" respectively, (these are the episodes that you have not been able to get at till now) enjoy!

Just so everyone knows, Make MKV 1.7.7 has fixed this issue with the last disk in Smallville, Season 7, titles 04 & 05 now rip fine! The release notes say that it is more tolerant of badly mastered BDs.

I am piling on. I was unable to have MakeMKV rip the file containing the digital comic book. After ripping the disc using another program, m2ts format, playing the comic book is tricky. What software will play that file, giving me the opportunity to read each page?

basically none if its just a video file you would have needed to rip it as a bdmv folder then play it back with menus then it should work
