CRAWL on Blu-ray has new AACS protection

So, I got my review copy in a week or so ago and I've tried ripping the 2019 film CRAWL on Blu-ray Disc, with no luck. It turns out it has new AACS protection (v72). I've submitted the dump file and also clicked to report the new form of AACS. Here are the INFO and my log from trying to rip the disc. Anyone had this problem as well? I'm assuming so. Just curious as to when this might be able to be ripped because I need to review it and have screenshots.

Just got in the Blu-ray release of the Netflix series THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE and it has this very same AACS protection on all three discs. It's again AACS v72. Paramount seems to be going to put this on pretty much all of their titles from now on, not just films, even TV shows. That's pretty discouraging if you plan on using this software just to do screenshots as I do. Here's the log file for the first disc.

Now that's weird. That's a small distributor.

Red Joan is also a Shout! Factory release. Now that's VERY VERY odd.

My apologies. The first AACS shenanigan revoked my drive and I misread the messages on the subsequent discs I've tried.

I thought revoked certificates did not happen with Libre?

True, but not everyone has a libredrive capable drive.

@KalebPMP , your topic got locked & referred to this one, however, your problem appears different.

https://www.makemkv.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=20673

Based on "Error 'OS error - Access is denied' occurred while creating 'C:/Program Files (x86)/MakeMKV/MKB_v72_Crawl_05C4.tgz'", it looks like you've changed the location of the MakeMKV data directory (Preferences > General) to the program directory. This is bad for 2 reasons:

1) The user account running MakeMKV has insufficient rights to save a dump (or the latest SDF, which may have facilitated decrypting this disc).

2) All saved keys/custom profiles/etc.. get wiped out when updating MakeMKV... even if you changed permissions.

Stick with the default, "%UserProfile%\.MakeMKV" , where you are guaranteed to have write permission.
