Newer version of AACS protection

Post by wetryszdjgkx »

I was ripping a blu-ray but it didn't work so I checked the box and saw this in the text.
This disc uses a newer version of AACS protection. Please let us know about it by visiting http://www.makemkv.com/a/?AwMDAwOWU+XEKo...
Can someone update the program to work with this new protection?

So, did you visit the link, so that Mike was given the information to update the program? Alternatively, MakeMKV will have also saved that information in a file in your MakeMKV directory, and given you the path to that file, so it could be emailed to svq@makemkv.com to do the same thing.

IF you have a LibreDrive compliant drive/FW & allow MakeMK to '... contacting web server...', Mike claims "MKBv72 is currently supported on 1.14.5 with latest key updates."

Subsequent post provides link to supported drives/FW listing.
