No errors reading the disk - the read completes and then the error messages immediately follow. Tried two separate copies of this disk. Also tried with two different drives on two different PCs.

More information. AnyDVD was able to decrypt and rip the same blu-ray disk to the hard drive without a problem.
Running MakeMKV against the decrypted file structure, now on the hard drive, fails in similar fashion as when processing the original blu-ray disk.

It's a disc mastering error that happens more and more often. Workaround will be added in a next version.

ok thanks.... Just a quick question... When will that version be released or what is the time frame your looking to release? I purchased the entire x men series (all 4) and was able to copy the other three but this is the only one i could not get copied... I will be patient but was just wondering.

a few options are still available: you can hold onto the ripped file AnyD*D ripped until the updated version comes out or plop that file into HandBrake or a similair program for conversion, there are a handful of programs, such as RIPB*T that should be able to convert that file to an MKV container. Did u convert the others> or did u just leave them as a rather large untouched MKV?

You can always do a disc backup with MakeMKV (decrypted or not) and open it later with a new version.
