Hey Everyone,
I'm having a issue ripping 2 specific discs, I've ripped them in the past about a year ago, and they sat on the shelf ever since, now I'm trying to re-rip them. When I last did it I was using MakeMVK version 10.10 or 10.12. I'm updated to the latest 10.14.7 currently. and I can't rip those 2 discs. I've tried several Bluray drives, 2 LG drives from a year ago when i originally ripped them, 2 new ones i got a few months ago also LG, a older sony external drive, and a brand new 1 month old asus drive. All have the same issue. Also tried on 2 macs and 2 windows 10 machines. On both discs, I can copy the contents with no issues to a folder on my computer, and then add the discatt.dat from the makemkv backup process, and try ripping that folder with makemkv, and same titles on the disc/folder give me issues each time. The discs are both spotless, I don't mind buying another simpsons movie on blu ray, cheap enough, but the season 15 on blu ray is trickier to find and the ones I do find are over priced on ebay

I thought if i could copy the disc files to a local folder on the machine, it eliminates the drive or disc being the issue, am I wrong? also, if i revert back to version 10.12 and try again, how do I clear all of the makemkv files and settings and config files on my machine first? so it's like a brand new 100% fresh install?

I had no issue burning "The Simpsons Movie" just a couple weeks ago, but today I am having all kinds of issues ripping any disks even ones I just unwrapped. I did click off ripping all closed captioning and they started ripping, try doing that and see if that works.

Nope, I even tried the titles with no audio and no subtitles at all, same issue while ripping off Blu Ray disc or hard drive folder. I ordered another Simpsons movie sealed and will see if that helps.

The movie sealed, no improvements. I'll tinker with selecting and deselection audio and subtitle streams.

As for the Season 15, I purchased another one of it on blu ray, worked fine. so 1 problem was a bad disc. The movie probably will be a incompatible audio or subtitle track. I'll see
