Ordinary People AACS v76

Post by Browneye9999 »

Hello,

I have an older Movie, 'Ordinary People', that says it has it has a newer version of AACS protection v76.

I clikced on the link to report the newer version, I also sent through an AACS dump file for decrypting, but haven't heard anything in a couple of weeks.

Anyone around to take a look for me?

Many thanks

Edit: and it's on a LIbre Drive compatible drive

Hmm, send the dump again (support@makemkv.com). Normaly it takes 1-3 days to get the update for the Hashkey Table. Do you have allowed MakeMKV to get updates? There should be a message "downloading new HK data" if there is an update available.

This has nothing with LibreDrive to do. LibreDrive is to get access to the data without internal using drive firmware and the AACS Drive Revocation is bypassed. But the AACS protection is still in place. As long as the AACS v76 can not be handled by the software, each dump must be analysed and the volume key must be added to the Hashkey table.
Good Luck :)
