Trying to copy blu rays; NO AUDIO

Post by keenly1 »

I have MAKEMKV on trial. I load the Blu Rays, click back up. They are done, I then create an ISO an burn, but no audio. Tried this on 2 discs thus far. Picture for menu is ok, but no music on any track.

What are you trying to play the files with? Is it compatible with the codecs used? Are you playing the mpls playlists, or the m2ts files?

I have burned files to blu ray. Playing on blu ray player. Screen with menu is fine, no audio.

Does the backup itself play with audio?

MakeMKV only has control up to the point of creating the backup. After that, your other tools take over, and only someone that is familiar with those tools would be able to help.

Nope the folders will not play via VLC, like they normally do.

Rather than do a backup, try Opening the disk, and look at what tracks are available to make MKV files from. This topic has examples of what to look for.

Are there audio tracks listed for each title?
