Errors ripping files but no errors backing the whole disk

Hello,
I have a question regarding an errors shown during the rip of a disk. Ripping the files directly from the disk show these errors:
So I thought the disk is somewhat damaged. But if I make a direct backup of the whole disk instead of ripping its files it doesn't show any error and, since it show "Loaded content hash table, will verify integrity of M2TS files" and no further errors, I guess the backup is correct.
But ripping every file from that backup (not from the disk itself) comes with the same "The source file xxx is corrupt or invalid at offset" errors that appears when ripping from the disk.
At this point I don't know if the disk is damaged or not; I don't understand why backing the disk show no errors (hash supposed to be checked) but ripping it's files, even from the previous backup, show errors.
