Gran Torino

Post by dpstjp »

Just re-backing up but got a series of "Hash check failed for file" "file is corrupt" warnings for Gran Torino (Warner Bros) UK disc.

Will edit this post with log output when I get the disk redone.

You should return you disc and get a new one, it's damaged.

I now have a disk replacement for the Gran Torino BD. I get the following error report for the new one. I've managed to get EAC3to to rip the streams and create an MKV, but this also reports errors. Whole batch must be dodgy.

I've reviewed the MKV at the points where the errors are, and there are visible defects to the video stream. Noticeable but not completely disastrous.
