So as the title says, after about 15-20 mins of watching directly from the disc, I get severe picture corruption. I've used VLC Player, MPC with K-Lite pack and I've also used Kodi. With all of them the picture degrades at the same spot.
As an example I was watching Home Alone on blu ray. About 30 seconds before reaching the 6th chapter, the video starts producing degraded color lines and a choppy picture.
Now I would assume this was the disc except that it works fine when using CyberPower DVD or when ripping the disc. The ripped copy using MKV looked great actually.
This is happening on nearly every disc I try now. Initially I assumed this was the result of disc rot or something, but after seeing it work ripped and with CyberPower I now believe it's entirely a playback issue using the MKV integration.
Is there anything I can do to help fix this? Settings that I don't know about or something else? Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
