Cedar Rapids

Post by Nicholas.D »

I am having trouble ripping Cedar Rapids.

MakeMKV just freezes 3/4 of the way through the main track. I do not have any errors or debug messages...just the pinwheel of death (Mac).

I ripped 3 movies before Cedar Rapids and all of them through without a hitch...

Any ideas?

Turn on the debug log and use the "backup" option in MakeMKV, see if it throws up any errors.

I already see something similar...

This could be that:
1. MakeMKV seem freezed. Wait 20 minutes and MakeMKV will finally finish the disk.
I don't remember which disk do that... but I remember have waiting 10 minutes and finally the progress bar have resumed.
Depend on your CPU, this could take a while.
(you could also running it during the night... and comeback the morning).

2. You could do a backup with disk that your PC seem have trouble to decode it. I remember Garfield 1 or 2.
He just gived an hardtime to my bluray reader....
I just finally copied the bluray as "Backup" with MakeMKV and after that I make a MKV.
He take longeur that any disks but that worked.
