I too can confirm this is correct. My wife gave me the thumbs up on it. :D

So I have selected the Title as outlined (689.mpls). Unfortunately it does not rip. I get a bunch of error messages. BTW I get these error messages with any other title on that disc as well.

... many more like the ones below ...
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00506.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 12010518528, attempting to work around
The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00506.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 12010518528, attempting to work around

The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00506.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 12010518528, attempting to work around
Failed to save title 60 to file /.../t60_Twilight_Saga_Breaking_Dawn_-_Part_1_Blu-ray.mkv
0 titles saved, 1 failed

Is there a setting that I need to enable/disable to get over these errors?

Please advise.

Thank you,

Martin

Your drive can not read the disc.

This is not a copy protection issue.

This is a hardware issue.

Damaged disc or failing drive.

What is especially pathetic about this tactic is that it won't ever bother anybody actual pirates. They'll have a profit motive, perhaps better tools, and this tactic won't bother them one bit. It is only legitimate users trying to put their library to a file server who will get hindered.

So it's my turn to create backups for these BDs. All went fine, except for Breaking Dawn Part One, which is a former rental disk. I read through all the posts; I tried every single title, including the two specifically named in two of the posts--none of them worked. I searched online for any other feedback about this disc, but haven't found anything. Any new ideas?
