Monsters, Inc & Skyfall

If anyone could please help me out with the error below I'd really appreciate it. Over the last 2 nights I've ripped a whole bunch of my dvd's with no issue but I've tried 3 blurays and they all give me this error.

Error 'Scsi error - HARDWARE ERROR:441E' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00019.m2ts' at offset '5240125440'
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00019.m2ts' at offset '5242023936'
Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:POSITIONING ERROR DETECTED BY READ OF MEDIUM' occurred while reading '/BDMV/STREAM/00019.m2ts' at offset '5242023936'
Failed to save title 0 to file G:/Movies/Blu-ray/Monsters,_Inc_(Disc_1)_t00.mkv
0 titles saved, 1 failed

It doesn't matter what blu's either, I've tried Skyfall and Monsters, Inc twice. I've used versions 1.9.7 and 1.9.6.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but "MEDIUM ERROR" is media error I believe, unable to read media at the position given.

Check whether or not the disc is perfectly clean. I'm not sure how "fussy" Blu-ray is. I try to back up my discs as soon as I get them now. Only had similar error occur once, and I suspect it might have been due to very light scratches.

It could be but I doubt it's due to bad discs. I own both titles and they are in great shape. I've never had an issue ripping blurays until this so I'm not sure what to do? And by the way, I did clean the disc and try again and got the same message. The message appears at the very end of the rip when there's approx 1 minute left.

But, a medium error is a report from the operating system that the drive can't read the disk. Yours seem to be a drive problem:

I just starting seeing the same errors on 1.9.7 too - disks worked fine before this version.

Did anything change in 1.9.7?
