MakeMKV tutorial, or what do all these check boxes do?

Is there a MakeMKV overview, tutorial, or anything that explains the features and controls?

I figured out how to set it to only auto-select English elements. Good.

But how can I set it to automatically select the 7.1 MA / HD lossless tracks rather than ignoring those and selecting the 5.1 tracks instead?

How do I make sure that commentary tracks are included?

And what's the rules for the trees and checkboxes? If the top level is unchecked but lower levels are checked, what happens?

It seems odd asking this in 2016, but some googling and searching here and AVS, and I can't find a find a solid overview or tutorial of MakeMKV.

For making selections of individual tracks "automatically", you can look through the messages in "Advanced MakeMKV usage"; I don't remember seeing any real tutorial on what you can do with it, and I do all my track selection external to MakeMKV. That is, I have MakeMKV rip everything, and sort it out later, because I post-process everything through handbrake.
