Asus BC-12D2HT

Any one have firmware 3.0.0 laying arround for this drive, my friend is an idiot and flashed his drive tjhe other day to 3.0.1 even though i told him alot of times not to do it, now it can't read UHD

Better thing he can do is to crossflash it to other similar devices (LG).

Thats yrue, was also my other sugestion to him, the problem is just, tht we can't seem to find any information on witch LG drive its build on

Ive got the drive (UK) with firmware 3.0 on it.If you point me to a util that will dump the firmware I will do it for you

Try this :

32 BIT

64 BIT

Open an elevated command prompt and type :

flasher -D to display the Asus Drive ID.

Then type

flasher -d [drive id] -l firmware.bin 6 00000000 00200000

Then send me the firmware.bin and I'll do the rest for a proper firmware flash dump !!!

Would be great, just tried myself with the 3.0.0 from myce, ended up killing the drive, but always a good thing dosflash could wake it to life again

Send me your dump or the one of your friend if you need a valid 3.00 firmware to be flashed.

Use DOSFLASH (modified version), erase and flash eeprom and report feedback please. :wink:

Reviving an old topic, but did anyone have a clean 3.0 firmware for this drive, so I could use Teddy's rom EEPROM data mover to downgrade the firmware on my drive to 3.0.

Yes I'm also looking for a clean 300 firmware to flash with. I'll host it if need be with my dropbox account for others
