+1 on the 800.

My Blu-Ray has 3 language intro segments doing the narrative into space thing...

English = 00800.mpls / segments 810,811 / duration 2:31:51 / size 42.1 GB / 52 chapters
French = 00801.mpls / segments 812,811
Spanish = 00802.mpls / segments 813,811

I'm not sure what the 00099.mpls is -- it appears to be the whole movie but only with english stereo.

Have a nice day.

I don't understand which is the correct list, none of mine are 800. My disc has those 3;

00800.mpls / segments 810,811 / duration 2:31:51 / size 42.1 GB / 52 chapters
00801.mpls / segments 812,811
00802.mpls / segments 813,811

plus one single (no chapter count) at 41.5Gb (Seg 811)

Which is right?

"800" is short-hand for 00800.mpls

Anyone know how to extract the "score-only" track? I extracted the 3 english tracks and they were: normal audio, descriptive/visual impaired, and directory commentary

The Score only track is digital download only.

All, I was able to rip (full backup) the Last Jedi Blu Ray movie (non UHD) with seemingly no errors. I then attempted to use Handbrake to make an MKV and only the 2 CH stereo track comes up on the audio listing. I have never had this happen before. Any suggestions? The movie states English 7.1 DTS-HDMA is the format.

I do mine the same way (backup with MakeMKV then run handbrake on the backup). Sometimes HandBrake incorrectly identifies the "Desciptive audio" title as the main title. In this case, HandBrake identified title 13 as the main title and I think it is really title 142. Try running HandBrake again against title 142 and I think it will work correctly.

42 GB is the largest BR rip I have ever seen - why?

Did a full folder transfer of a The Last Jedi UHD last night and it plays perfectly on my Oppo 203. Has anyone determined the filelist for main title only for this movie? I know I can't have DV titles in MKV and an m2ts file containing just the primary stream, the DV stream and the True HD audio also does not work properly on the 203. It plays but it's a major stutter fest. I am thinking a bluray folder based transfer but of only the main title files is my best option. So basically everything that happens after hitting Play Movie from the main disc menu.

If you want only the main feature, Open the backup folder in MakeMKV and save the main feature as an MKV file. It will assemble the pieces.

DV as MKV does not work on my 203 but I suppose if that generates a file with the appropriate components I can query that to see what the main title is composed of. Is that what you are suggesting?
