File will crash after renaming, move it

Hello,
I am experiencing a quite strange issue. When I rename, move it to another folder it will not open and crash the player (5KPlayer or Win8.1 Video Player). It seems that the length of the file name + the folder name is a problem.
I tried to see if there is a pattern in the naming that causes the problem but I couldn't find any.
I am trying to backup all my BR discs. The process is proving complex as I can't allocate series by title and disc N. under nested folders.
I appreciate any help.

Really, ANY details would be helpful; with what you've typed so far, I cannot say whether you're having a problem with running MakeMKV, or playing an MKV file.
